Father son team spent three days fly fishing, with three of Wild Trout Adventure’s Guides, on three different rivers in Hawke’s Bay.
Each day had it’s share of successes and created a different experience and challenge. That’s the beauty of fishing in Hawk’es bay. We have over 20 fishable rivers, tributaries or streams to fish from, with four of our large rivers open for all year round for fly fishing.
Here “Action man” Robert shows his son how it’s done, while Peter takes notes with his I Phone. 🙂
This was their second day on the Waipawa with not so typical Hawke’s Bay weather conditions. Gale force winds, showers and freezing cold. But as you can see the trout didn’t notice. A nice seven pounder landed, after a quick but protesting battle.
Thanks for the video footage Peter.
